Magnavox MDR515HMagnavox MDR515H : I Review the Magnavox MDR515H on 5 stars because I liked it an great recorder to do anything it advertised to do. As a former user VCR I had a steep learning curve in front of me when I got the 515. But, the first reading of the great reviews posted on 13/04/2011 wajo2 and the many links to additional details, plus, thoroughly read the manual very adequate, I felt pretty smoothly setup and everyday use of this device is more than satisfactory.
The only seriously setup issue I encountered was when I caused the unit lock-up (my fault) during installation and had the power for a few hours (overnight) before the time display returns to the dot pattern indicating the unit finished to re-setup. Then everything went smoothly.
As far as the adverse responses have been posted, I think that familiarity the information available before taking a dip in the setup and use of this recorder will go a long way toward making your experience with a 515 pleasurable and successful. Read More… | See Price
